Abstract: Functional interpretations are maps of formulas from the language of one&#xD;
theory into the language of another theory, in such away that provability is preserved,&#xD;
proofs are (essentially) translated into proofs, and information about the proofs is&#xD;
gathered. Functional interpretations have many uses, such as: relative consistency&#xD;
results, conservation results and the extraction of computational content from proofs.&#xD;
We prove the factorisation Ust = Kst Bst of Jaime Gaspar and Fernando Ferreira’s&#xD;
classical nonstandard bounded functional interpretation Ust in terms of an extension&#xD;
of Jean-Louis Krivine’s negative translation Kst and Bruno Dinis and Jaime Gaspar’s&#xD;
intuitionistic nonstandard bounded functional interpretation Bst. We also give some&#xD;
applications of the factorisation.</description>

Abstract: Logic programs, more specifically, answer-set programs, can be annotated with probabilities on facts to express uncertainty. We address the problem of propagating weight annotations on facts (e.g. probabilities) of an answer-set program to its stable models, and from there to events (defined as sets of atoms) in a dataset over the program’s domain. &#xD;
We propose a novel approach which is algebraic in the sense that it relies on an equivalence relation over the set of events. Uncertainty is then described as polynomial expressions over variables.&#xD;
We propagate the weight function in the space of models and events, rather than doing so within the syntax of the program. As evidence that our approach is sound, we show that certain facts behave as expected. Our approach allows us to investigate weight annotated programs and to determine how suitable a given one is for modeling a given dataset containing events. It’s core is illustrated by a running example and the encoding of a Bayesian network.</description>

processo que foi desenvolvido por parte da equipa responsável pela elaboração das novas orientações curriculares.&#xD;
Apresenta depois as novas orientações propriamente ditas, discutindo os princípios que lhe conferem racionalidade&#xD;
e as consequências que estes têm nas opções curriculares com vista à coerência interna e relevância da proposta.&#xD;
Segue-se uma descrição das medidas em marcha com vista a apoiar a generalização das novas orientações curriculares em 2022/23. Termina-se com questões pertinentes em qualquer processo de desenvolvimento curricular e&#xD;
que são neste momento especialmente críticas.</description>
