| Abstract: | This presentation details the University of Évora's (UÉvora) role as a leader in promoting student mental health and well-being, framed by the "vagar(mente)" program. Research among 322 students showed that mental health and healthy lifestyles decline across academic years, with women experiencing higher burnout and emotional exhaustion. UÉvora's response includes implementing Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) hybrid training and Mindfulness programs, which have been deemed effective, reducing stigma and promoting support skills. The findings mandate gender- and stage-sensitive interventions to build more resilient and healthier academic communities. |
