| Abstract: | This chapter provides strategic recommendations for policy makers to improve the quality of life for children with complex and intensive support needs (CISN). Grounded in the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, it advocates for a support system integrated across micro (family), meso (service providers), and macro (policy) levels. The goal is to ensure these children are full community members with access to education and activities that foster dignity and development. |
