| Abstract: | Chapter 23-2, "Inclusive education teamwork in school", is presented within the context of "Good practice in inclusive education" in Portugal. This section details a case study or approach focusing on how multidisciplinary teams operate within the school setting to successfully support students with complex needs. The chapter highlights the importance of effective collaboration between teachers, specialized professionals, and caregivers to create truly inclusive learning environments. It provides a practical illustration of teamwork models necessary for achieving optimal activity, participation, and quality of life outcomes for children with multiple disabilities in the Portuguese educational context. |
