Prevenção das Lesões por Pressão associadas à Ventilação Mecânica Não Invasiva na Pessoa em Situação Crítica

Abstract

O presente relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito da Unidade Curricular Estágio em Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Crítica com Relatório, integrada no 9.º Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem, na área de especialização em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica: A Pessoa em Situação Crítica, dando continuidade às Unidades Curriculares de Projeto e de Estágio, sustentado pelo modelo teórico de Patricia Benner, “De Iniciado a Perito”. Este documento reflete o percurso formativo realizado, tendo como objetivo realizar uma análise crítica e reflexiva do processo de aquisição e desenvolvimento de competências comuns e específicas do enfermeiro especialista e de mestre em enfermagem. Destaca-se a temática da “Prevenção das Lesões por Pressão associadas à Ventilação Mecânica não Invasiva”, pela sua relevância clínica, impacto na segurança e qualidade dos cuidados à pessoa em situação crítica. Adotou-se uma metodologia descritiva e crítico-reflexiva. O desenvolvimento deste percurso permitiu consolidar competências especializadas e uma prática fundamentada, orientada para a excelência dos cuidados; Prevention of pressure injuries associated with non-invasive mechanical ventilation in critically ill patients - Abstract: This report was developed within the scope of the Course Unit Internship in Nursing Care for the Critically Ill Person with Report, integrated in the 9th Master’s Degree in Nursing, in the area of specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing: The Critically Ill Person, following on from the Course Units of Project and Internship, and grounded in Patricia Benner’s theoretical model, “From Novice to Expert.” This document reflects the training pathway undertaken, with the aim of carrying out a critical and reflective analysis of the process of acquiring and developing common and specific competencies of the specialist nurse and the master’s-level nurse. The theme “Prevention of Pressure Injuries Associated with Non-Invasive Mechanical Ventilation” is highlighted due to its clinical relevance and its impact on the safety and quality of care for critically ill patients. A descriptive and critical-reflective methodology was adopted. The development of this pathway enabled the consolidation of specialized competencies and a well-founded practice, oriented towards excellence in care.
