Estudos prospetivos são necessários para confirmar estes resultados; Retrospective study on prognostic markers in feline hepatic lipidosis - Astract: Feline hepatic lipidosis (FHL) is one of the most common hepatobiliary diseases in cats, associated with prolonged anorexia and concurrent disorders. This retrospective study evaluated the association between clinical and laboratory variables and 60-day survival in 30 cats with FHL hospitalized between 2021 and 2024. Demographic, clinical, laboratory, imaging, and therapeutic data were collected. The 60-day survival rate was 56.7%. Variables such as age, time to clinical presentation, hypokalemia at admission, and disease form were not significantly associated with outcome, although trends toward lower survival were observed in older cats, cats with delayed treatment, and those with secondary FHL. A reduction in serum total bilirubin to ≤50% of the initial value after 7– 10 days of treatment was significantly associated with survival (p=0.00343; OR=18.06), suggesting prognostic value. Prospective studies are needed to confirm these findings.
